Fall, My Beloved・｡🍂

Words actually can't describe how much I love fall. Maybe it sounds basic but I'm actually so pumped!! I get to break out all my cute thrifted knit sweaters and fully indulge in my tea addiction and make pumpkin soup, pumpkin cream cheese muffins, pumpkin pasta, pumpkin bread, basically anything and everything pumpkin. I especially can't wait because I'm going to have a little photo shoot with some friends with pumpkin masks (can you tell I like pumpkins? ) and potentially go to a pumpkin patch :]

Halloween in particular is by far one of my top fall events obviously . I'll be matching with my best friend and we'll be going as Starfire and Raven (me as Starfire, her as Raven). It was tough choosing what to be because it took us forever to decide between that, Ghoulia Yelps and Lagoona Blue, or 2D and Noodle, but we figured Star and Raven was probably the easiest so here we are lol ALSO PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LMK WHAT YOU'RE GONNA BE!! My science teacher was giving my class shit for still going trick or treating at our big age but just sounds to me like someone's jealous smh (I'm talking to you, Mrs. Fogarty). I mean it's not like she can stop us anyway. I plan on trick or treating until I'm 23 at minimum because why pay for candy if I don't have to??

Dia de los Muertos is my absolute FAVORITE fall event though! The Mexican in me is gonna show but I can't begin to explain how much I adore it. I already have a year-round altar in my room for my cousin (may she rest in peace, ily Brookie <3), but I can't wait to set up our big one for all of our ancestors. It makes me so happy to cook their favorite foods and learn their favorite things and leave them as offerings for them. It gives me so much comfort to have them know that I think about them because it makes me feel like I still hold a connection with them (or am making an effort to have a connection if I never met them). Maybe this is a little corny but my family both living and dead means so much to me so Dia de los Muertos is my favorite holiday ever, I'm just sad that it's only 2-3 days :[ (depending if you start it on October 31st or not). Either way, I seriously can't wait and fall has already given me life again. I don't know how to end these so uh have a fun day today, buh-bye!!
