Recently, I've been going out more, and been touching grass. I go out alot, but not fresh air. So I find this to be a change in myself, lowkey.
Last week, I went with a mate on a hike up Ainslie Mountain, which is in the ACT, it has a really neat view of the Parliment House and stuff, I saw Gunghalin from that mountain! And the hike was pretty fun too. My mate started yapping about the duck song until I threw him his lunch, and we took breaks to sit atop logs, and we saw a few kangaroos, so that was pretty cool.
And because of that hike, I earlier found myself seeing stuff I wanted to go to next week, aka this week, lol. Such as a Pro-Palestinian mini-fest, which was really awesome to go to. I gained two new badges, a new book, and a new friend from that! We had immediately hit it off and we were together the entire time during the fest and had some cookies, and started yapping about yuri. I love yuri.
And today, I ran into alot of people I knew, both good and bar, and then I was brought to a creek by another mate, and I went batshit insane in the creek, which ended in me walking around 3km back to her house barefoot on concrete paths in the rain. Canberra was getting done over by rain today too. And the paths.. Sometimes it was smooth, other times? Ow. But it was still really fun to catch up with them despite having talked to her in person 3 days piror.
But this was just weekends! During the weekdays I've been taking the bus less and walking more, one of the days I decided to start walking backwards to my house for the sake of it, and then another I cookies lol. There's this park I go to too, where I just kinda swing for thirty minutes then go back home.
But also there was fun indoor stuff, like me giving a presentation on Fear and Hunger, and then my mate immediately eating a full bowl of Pickles after. He was genuinely dying after that, poor guy. But then we played this game of Bullshit Chess where instead of playing the game we just had to figure out amazing ways to one-up the opponent. Allah was there, Doomed yuri, racism, 2 gay jesus'??? I kind of felt like it was becoming korean drama.
Needless to say, it was a real awesome week. And I'm very tired. Tomorrow's Monday, and it's new day to look forward to. Goodnight.
