My Ideal Relationship On Paper

I want to be with someone that values me and recognizes even the little things I do. I'd like to not only be loved, but to feel loved. I want to be straddled and hugged while I'm studying and consoled when I have a bad day. Late-night conversations are something I desire as well; the kind that envelop your attention to such an extent that you don't even realize dawn broke twenty minutes ago.

Ideally, my woman would be as spontaneous as I am. An inescapable wanderlust would drive us to the brink of insanity, culminating in impulsive adventures and random late-night snack runs. Every date night would be an opportunity to experience something new together. 

I would remember all of her favorite foods so I can spoil her. Bearing any allergies in mind, I'd write my own recipes and practice preparing them until it is second nature, so her meals mean that much more. I want to show how much I care through every gesture, great or small. I'd get small gifts to show my love, whether it is her favorite snack/drink or a trinket I know she'd love. 

I'd buy her flowers and keep one for myself so I know when to buy more. I'd hope to give her parents the impression that I am good enough for their daughter; that I am capable of supporting her and willing to remain by her side, especially when she needs me most. I'd want to have a good relationship with her family as a whole. 

I would listen intently to her problems without jumping at the opportunity to 'fix' them, but rather, focus on helping her navigate her feelings. I want to care for her when she is sick, and when she gets her period, I would buy her everything she needs and any treat she wants. I would comfort her after she wakes up from a bad dream. I just want to be a good boyfriend. 

My love language is physical touch, so I wouldn't be able to bear a relationship without cuddling and hand holding. I always want to be touching my person, because it's one of the ways in which I express how important someone is to me.
