why is the plot of evey gl the same

ok this might be bait to get better yuri/gl recs but my point still stands

like basically every gl/yuri ive read or watched has the same plot, theyre in high school, ones an introvert and the other ones popular, they fall inlove for some reason while barely knowing eachother, they start worrying about uni and life after school, suppress the problem until the very last moment when they have an argument about it or confront the other about the issue, it ends with them kissing or something

its good the first few times but im SO BORED of this plot, with bl and yaoi theres variety, its not always set in a school, the characters have depth and arent reduced to just "shy, loner introvert and popular, likeable, extravert", they have issues like homophobia or struggle with their relationship (makes the plot even more interesting imo), but back to my main point, most of the gl ive seen feels like its not even made for lesbians, theres no intimacy, no uniqueness, just the same high school plot witht the same character archetypes and im so sick of it
