exerpt from a story I'm writing :) - Agna the Chosen

Here is a snip bit of a story im writing. I use story bc I am writing a full on manscript in book for a comic. I am only two chapters in which would basically mean I have written two issues (yay!)

The project is called Agna the Chosen. It is about this girl who randomly gets powers and realizes that she is actually "the chosen" (heheh) for a Empire inside the Earth. But turns out, this empire are white supremecists... so she has to learn how to take them down :0 (do we think this is good plot?)

anyways... here is the bit! Context: this is the day before she gets her powers.

“Do you think things will change after today? That we won’t talk to each other any more because we have our own jobs? That you and I won't be roommates anymore?” asked Alexa. It was these intrusive thoughts that would haunt her and slip out for some reason.

“Well, we have to grow up at some point.” Jayden replies. She takes a swig of her drink. “I mean, you and I will most likely get married or move in with someone else. But I promise you, we will still be good friends.”

Okayyy I'll give you another bit. Context: She is fighting the guy who was commanded to bring her back to Agnaria (the name of the Empire in the middle of the Earth) Also Alexa is Agna

“You are The Chosen of Agnaria, the Empire of the superior race. You were sent to Earth to start The Rapture and purify the Earth. You need to come back to Agnaria with me and-” Alexa kicked him in the stomach before he could finish and threw him off of her. He had somehow grabbed onto her hair and dragged her with him. A huge chuck of hair ripped out of her hair and she dropped a few feet from him.

“What the hell, asshole.” Alexa mutters under her breath. Before she could get up, Seer had grabbed her hair and forced her into the ground. He turned her over and started fogging up her vision again.

“I was told to not be too violent or forceful to get you back.” Seer exclaims. “I can give you a second chance.” Alexa’s vision was now all black, guess he didn’t want to show her anything. “Come back to Agnaria, we can tell you more about the prophecy.” Alexa didn’t want to be a part of this white supremecist crap. Without thinking, she kicked Seer in the crotch. He launched up and landed at least a few yards away from her. Somehow he had taken a few clumps of hair with him too. He crumbled into a fetus position clutching his crotch. 

“WHAT THE HELL!” He screamed in agony. “YOU”VE RUINED MY BLOODLINE!” He kept rolling on the ground with faint groans of agony. Alexa had struggled to get up, seeing a few strands of hair fall out. She felt around her scalp to see what damage he had done. At least one third of her hair had been pulled out.

“Good.” She whispered under her breath. She struggled to get up while she was in the middle of the street. Alexa saw a huge crowd watching her around on the sidewalks. Then, she heard sirens a few blocks away. She should have known that this scuffle would cause attention to the authorities. What if her identity has already been found out?

Soon she started to hear a megaphone. “CHECK DOWN 23rd STREET!” screamed the mega phone. Then she saw a black expedition speeding towards her. With no time to run out of the way or react, all she could think about doing was to crouch down and block her face.

The car hit her but then flew over her and started flipping through the air. She watched as it landed with a hard thud and skidded across the street. What the hell have I just done? 

I do plan on posting the full chapters on wattpad so STAY TUNED!!!!!!!!! I'll make a blog post about it. anyways yeah. I don't think I'm the greatest writer and posting this is a huge step for my confidence in writing. It is just very hard to comply my thoughts into words. Thats why I think this would be better as a comic. But there is good sides to this! I got to make characters and interactions that I love that I wouldn't have thought of if I had just done the comic.
