Useless yap about one piece ocs

Okay, so, i LOVE one piece and i LOVE ocs, especially my own one piece oc but i'll post about him other time, but one thing that pisses me off is mfs using AI to make a design. I get that you probably can't draw or something like that, but there's so many options you can use other than AI. I think its extremely lazy to make an oc using AI because you don't actually put your soul into it y'know? Do whatever you want with your ocs, this is just my opinion and you don't have to take it personally(only if you're someone that does what i'm complaining about) but imo ocs should have effort put into them. They're basically a piece of you, and you're telling me you want a piece of you to be represented by some ai slop?? What happened to picrew? Commissions? Hell, there are discord servers where you can get FREE ART. Ttzewo's server is an example of that! Many artists there are WILLING to give you free art of your oc(there's a channel to advertise for that) and you'd rather use AI images shit. Its insane, really. I'm probably being too extreme about this so sorry i'm really not extreme about my views on AI, this is just something that kind of pisses me off

I started thinking about this when I joined a subreddit for one piece ocs. I got super excited to see everyone's ocs and post my own, but the amount of ai slop i saw there made me demotivated to post my son. I'm not saying that EVERYONE there makes ocs with ai. There's some amazing art there and very interesting and unique ocs, and the ai issue seems to have lowered a bit. But this shows on tiktok too.

And what's the weirdest is that i haven't seen this in other fandoms, just one piece. Everytime i searched for ocs of a fandom, one piece is the only i've seen a lot of AI, and that's like super strange.

Again, this is just one of the many useless things that bother me lol, you don't have to take this too seriously
