i really love science class

Sometimes I think science is the closest thing we have to poetry. Like, the universe writes in math, and we’re just trying to translate. I know it’s not the coolest thing in the world to geek out about photon interference or neuron synapses. I would call myself nerdy, but not obsessed with grades or calculators. for me, it’s not always about that. It’s about that feeling when you realize everything around you is connected in this terrifying, beautiful way. Like how the same elements in our blood are the same ones forged in collapsing stars billions of years ago. We’re basically walking space dust pretending to know what we’re doing.

there’s this thing called the double-slit experiment, and honestly, it messes with your head. if you watch which slit the photon goes through, it changes its behavior. like, the universe literally acts differently when it knows it’s being observed. quantum mechanics basically says: reality cares if you’re looking.(…which is terrifyingly poetic). Anyway, in bio, we’ve been doing neurons how signals jump across synapses using electrical impulses and chemical messengers called neurotransmitters.  there are about 86 billion neurons firing up there right nowmif i remember correctly. i can barely keep my room organized, but my brain is somehow running an entire electrical city on autopilot.

Thats the end of my yap buh bye
