Idk why, I assumed that when Youtube was going to be rolling out it's whole 'need to get verified for your age' thing was just gonna be in the UK or something, cuz I've like vaguely heard stuff like that?
Unfortunately, it seems I am a poor and foolish American. Because I just got hit with a 'This video is age-restricted, please verify your age' thing. On two accounts of mine, even though one of them doesn't even HAVE a watch history for their ai to judge, and one which has literally NOTHING that would imply I am a child.
I've been using Youtube and basically only Youtube for social media since 2011, and honestly? I might just stop using it. I might just download anything I'd want to watch to my computer or mp3 player (I'd have to change them all to avi files and format them, but I am willing to do that) or just stop watching vids all together.
Frankly I'm not about to give Youtube my id, my face, or my credit card. They do not have my trust when it comes to my personal information, so C'est La Vie, bye-bye YT
