(oct 18, 2025) what the actual fuck was this

< ok so i literally wanted to write this blog/review/whatever right after i had that experience, but apparently, my body was so shocked and stressed that it forgot about this event for a while.

what the actual fuck was this.

so, one day, a new friend told me that on oct 18th, at 8 PM, there would be a theatre and musical show, and she said she would even be performing a number!! i said, great!! I'll be there 100% bc i LOVE musicals, and especially since they were performing numbers from those broadway musicals (heathers, the greatest showman, six, ride the cyclone, hadestown, and beetlejuice (which is my fav)) and I said FIRE , I WANNA GO.

oki, so it was at this location, somewhere in the old town in bucharest, romania. the place was called geek hub. the place was a bit sketchy and it took me longer than i expected to find it, but oh well. i climbed some steep stairs in an apartment building until i entered the actual hub, which was literally an attic that in my opinion could fit a maximum of 100 people...actually, i dont even think 100. and in my head, i was thinking, where the fuck is the stage? cuz like there wasnt a stage and like, the deal was that i went to a show (I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT I ASKED MY MOM AND MY SISTER IF THEY WANTED TO COME TO THE MUSICAL W ME AND THEY ACTUALLY WANTED TO... AND I ALSO FORGOT TO MENTION THAT I PAID 50 LEI FOR A SINGLE TICKET, SO 150 LEI FOR 3 PEOPLE SINCE THERE WERE 3 OF US, WHICH IS $30).

moving on, the 'actors' were nicely costumed, especially the 3 heathers, and i can say i extremely liked the girl who played chandler, thats exactly how i would have imagined her. but thats pretty much all i liked from that entire evening, so get ready, its time for me to switch to hater mode and make one of those shameless lists with everything i didnt like and thought was shit. )

< first of all, the location was way too small, you had no space and no fresh air to breathe bc the room was so small it smelled like sweat.

2. many of the ppl there were discord mods who made me feel uncomfortable bc they were literally the only ones engaging with the 'show' in a weird kind of way..

3. the 'actors' gave absolutely nothing. like, throughout the entire evening, all they did was have the musical track playing in the background while they LIPSYNCED, AND THEY WERENT EVEN DOING IT WELL, DUDE, YOU COULD TELL THEY DIDNT KNOW THE LYRICS, HELLO???????? and like, ok, some of them danced and moved around, but they danced and moved BADLY, man......

it was bad... i paid quite a lot for the ticket, and as a spectator, i actually had pretty high expectations for what i was about to see. for an hour and a half, i tried to endure the music blasting at full volume....and i couldnt even leave bruh, not during the play and not before, bc the staff had closed the doors and announced to us!!!! that we couldnt leave!!!! before the play started!!!! for FUCKS sake!!!! i spent the whole evening laughing instead of crying, and a big reason i even stayed was because i was genuinely curious how my friend would perform...but i wont talk ab that..here....

4. there was a bar in the hub and they told us it was closing before the play started...if i had known....i would have bought drinks earlier so i could at least not have been sober.

so yeah! were not coming again! now i have to lock in HARD on commissions to get my moms money back! live laugh love! )
