no hate to anyone but like... a lot of adults that WOULD love it here are...employed? with full time jobs? families? it's really not me saying yall on here are unemployed loners lmao, just that maybe adults on forums are a minority because it's adults who carry society by working and can't spend 12h a day blogging...
(i wish i had more time to browse tho, i missed the Myspace era and only came at the death of online forums... highkey want to experience a new side of my childhood years)
genuinely... all socials are now populated mostly with kids & teens because they have the most free time to be active on here & while it's sad it's how it's always been, no?

but like other ppl have said, idc if teens wanna enjoy old internet, in fact i highly encourage it as long as their safety is guarenteed, obv

i don't want to have any "I'M NOT LIKE OTHER GIRLS!" energy, but i'm also a teenager, and some of these people act like middle schoolers. however, it's okay if they're on here because they think it's a safe space or whatever.

Same, I don't mind adding teens since I barely interact w/ them, and have a sibling that's 15 so ik they're just friending me cause of my profile, but I really wish there were more people our age to interact with on here xd

same!! i made my profile on here so i could experience myspace in some kind of way as i never heard of it in my childhood years and thought it was cool! i really went into this website thinking i'll see more people in their 20s or 30s but yeah i was surprised >.<

I'm an adult. I find no issue with teens wanting to experience a mirror of MySpace, though. I just care that they stay safe.
The problem is that it can be really hard for me to find people with similar interests who aren't minors. It's especially irritating when I get friend requests from people who aren't even 18+ or just don't indicate their age at all. It especially concerns me when I see accounts who are below the young age limit for SpaceHey. I've seen 12 year olds on here like twice or even more.
This. It bugs me too and doesn't sit right with me adding teenagers when I'm a lot older

It hardly feels like there are any adults here, yet for some reason, this site is flooded with 13 year olds.
Where the hell are all the adults at? You'd especially think that there would be more 30 - 40 something year olds here, as this is a website that's supposed to be similar to how MySpace was back in the day, after all.

for me, it's less that i feel old, and more just that i don't find a lot of people i can relate to. everyone, even people at or around my age irritates me on some level. though, that might just be me being misanthropic.

I'm 19 as well, and I find it quite odd that there aren't too many of us adults here on this website.
Hell, it especially seems that there aren't too many mid 2000s babies here, which could make sense if you compare us with those born in the 1980s and 1990s who got to experience the original MySpace at its peak, but it doesn't make much sense when you compare us to the 13, 14, and 15 year old kids born in the 2010s and when you consider that much of this site's userbase includes the latter group.
Was there just some sort of reverse baby boom approximately between the years 2003 - 2006, or is there some other reason that could explain this mysterious phenomenon, or what?

I'm only 20 but I have a difficult time finding people over 18 on here in general. A lot of people also don't want adults (18 or older) interacting, which I respect but it sucks for me.
