Ween Wednesday!!!!!!

Ween Wednesday will be all about Ween! 

I have to limit myself to one song a week because I would pick a Ween song every day.

Todays Song: Push Th' Little Daisies by Ween  

This one's from Ween's third album, Pure Guava. Great album, great song. The video is pretty rad, too. It was directed by Adam Bernstein, who also directed the box office fail It's Pat: The Movie. (The Ween cameo is the only redeemable aspect of that movie.) The Weens were made to eat cold spaghetti and Kilbasa and raw mushrooms from a large ziplock bag in front of a full camera crew at 6:30 in the morning for this music video. Here's them talking about it. 

This song bangs, it fucks. It rips and rocks so hard my ears bleed with excitement. Some people in the 90s felt the same way; It reached #18 on the charts in Australia and #21 on alternative rock charts in the US of A. It was also shown on Beavis and Butthead. 

I love this one a lot. This really kicked off my current ween love.
