Guys i have a really real question

Is parasitology a good thing to go into, or should i do virology

I wanna go through doing technical research, like CDC stuff or wtv, since i've always wanted to, but idk which ones more worth it, or if i should do both, 

I plan on doing my PHD on either or/both, but i wanna get the most out of it

(for context, rn i have like a 4.0 with AP and DE classes, plus i have some volunteer programs i applied for that give an upwards of 200 hours if it counts and my ACT scores come in friday, so i can update what that is when it does, but my pre-ACT for freshman year was a 21, and im a Junior now)
