First ever Blog - my car threw a door at me sort of

Hey, I'm Gracie. I've never made a blog before so here's my first one. I'll start at this morning cuz something lowkey funny/bad happened. 

(Quick note: my car hasn't been running properly since almost the 1 year mark if me owning it but me and my dad got it running good enough so it's my daily drive right now as of very recently)

So, I go to leave for school, my cars been warming up in my apartments' parking garage while I took my dog to the bathroom. I get in my car and go to leave but as I turn a corner in the garage my driver door fly's open. My first thought was that I just didn't shut my door all the way; but I go to shut it and it doesn't latch shut at all so I instantly stopped and tried to check it out. It just seems like either a latch line snapped or just unhooked, so I'm not worried about it. But there's no way I was gonna be late to school so I just held the door shut and left; mind you my cars a manual so I need both hands to drive sometimes.

 That being said, I was so distracted thinking about the door that I almost missed my turn so I let go of the door and swing around the corner, then my door is wide open and my seatbelt is locked so I couldn't reach for it. At this point someone's riding my butt cuz I slowed down to lowkey panic (if someone was in the opposite lane, which luckily no one was, I would've hit them with my door), so I unbuckled and grabbed it, then drove the last two blocks to school laughing my ahh off cuz I find all my cars issues hilarious and this honestly made me love my car more even tho I need to sell it and get a more reliable car while I'm in school. 

Anyway that's really the only thing I can think to talk about. Byeee
