"Oh, that was my ego, sorry."

Sometimes my mind cries out the cruellest things.Ā

Like this incident, a groupmate of mine has revised my part in our thesis proposal without my permission.

I would like to clarify I have extensive knowledge of that project. So it puzzled me when I came to check our papers and saw that not only had it been revised—it was in the wrong font and wrong alignment.

Even my chart that I made got deleted.

So, now... Naturally, I wanted to punch this person's ear and ask them as to what gave them the right to refurbish my works when they were never a mess in the first place?

I caught myself in the middle of a furious rant to my friends—is that actually me talking?

Yes, but I also hope not.

I got over it after a few minutes; it was THAT serious, but in the present, it doesn't matter as much when you've learnt to breathe through it. The art of detachment... I feel, is such an important thing in our lives, and I feel like I should've been told at a young age about that, but you never know how hot a stove is when you touch it, right? But yeah, we shouldn't hold ourselves from attaching ourselves to things that are beyond our control.

Anyway, I will sleep. Good night.
