So, there has been a discourse that I've noticed on the internet (okay, Tiktok). That, when someone claims to be busy, but has time to go do other stuff that are (in some people's eyes) pointless, but does not have the effort to talk to (fleeting, insignificant) relationships (such as situationships, etc.) They're automatically seen as a bad person.
In retrospect, yeah they kind of are.
Must I remind every people-pleasing person here on earth that the people around you are not entitled to how you spend your time, nor do you have that same privelege with how they manage theirs.
I just think it's immature to ask for such a thing.
"But Con, they're not making an effort!"
That is beyond your control. That is beyond what you should worry about, and frankly, it is not your fault if they don't reach out.
And I say this in the most loving way possible: touch grass.
