neil armstrong was the first man nay human to ever set foot on the moon during the apollo 11 mission and 19 minutes after buzz aldrin was the second person to walk on the moon, stepping onto the lunar surface though he didnt get much recognition and glory as armstrong

u probably dont know this but there was a third person, a pilot who flew the apollo 11

he was so close to the ground of the moon but returned without having trod upon it
