Do any of you guys know anything about how to buy a good computer or any good windows models that are not 2000 dollars? My first computer was from my dad and she just now stopped running… not backed up. I’m going to Best Buy tomorrow to look for a new one, but looking at their website I can’t make heads or tails of it.
Computer shopping???

Depends on what kind of computer you're looking for. Just to browse the web and do simple tasks? There's plenty of online storefronts that sell cheap PCs for a few hundred bucks. Could also go the refurbished route too, always a viable option and it's normally pretty cheap.
If you're looking for a more beefy rig for gaming or video/photo editing and things like that, then I would always recommend building your own. A lot of people charge in the thousands for pre-built gaming PCs, but they can be built for under a grand if you budget right, price compare, take advantage of sales, etc.
Also assuming your hard drive isn't fried, you can hook it up to your new PC and transfer files over

Ik it sounds sketch but Amazon is actually a really nice place to buy cheap 300-500 dollar computers
