Actually trying to write out this poem

Once again, the theme my group was assigned with is "Online Threats Explained: Protect Yourself Today" and they have decided that this means cyber-bullying. The most surface level definition of cyber-bullying, that is. I just want to document my writing process for now, it seems like a fun thing to do.

Starting off, what do people usually mean when they say their life is happy? "Describing her life positively," "narrating her environment in a happy way." What would that usually entail? We all have our own definitions of what is happy, so I need to narrow this down. Despite this, I was given literally nothing in regards to this girl. They want her to be a blank slate, "she could be anyone." This annoys me greatly, because now she's no one. I'll have to make assumptions of my own, so I think I'll list down general enough parts of her identity. Stuff normal to a girl. Umm...

High school-college age girl; petty insecurities about weight, pimples, hair, etc... (e.g. not eating disorder level, just gets a bit upset if her stomach's kind of flabby kind of insecurity.); has both parents but in a small rebellious phase where she thinks her dad doesn't get her interests; modest living, but dreams of the occasional expensive girly thing; sometimes engages in gossip; hardworking enough, but isn't one to skip out on leisure and having fun. Is that good enough? Normal enough? It gives me an image of a person that could exist, I guess? I haven't a clue as to the machinations of myself, let alone someone else of the opposite gender, though I'm fairly confident this is close enough.

Happiness is a positive emotion encompassing things like ecstasy and long-term fulfillment. Given the young age of the main character, alongside the lack of any given long-term goals, I do not think I could give her any things to be fulfilled with. Though, perhaps the goals of the average achiever may suffice. "Oh! I got a 95 on *random subject*," among other things..? Short-term happiness and ecstasy could be easy, though what could that be? Eating good, delicious food? Feeling pretty? Going to fancy places? How could I work that in? Let's see, perhaps something like...

The swirls of my hot chocolate seems to give me kisses.

Sweetness twirls alike and it reminds me of that brunch,

when my mom took me to when we passed that thesis.

Even the rain smashing down on the earth with punches

seems twittering birds in a bright and sunny day

Are we writing fire? I don't quite know, but I do need to rush a bit since this guy wants to be done by tonight— it is currently 8:30 as of writing, (not as of posting!) Anyways, the 2nd stanza is talking about her environment, which is different from herself? Also, I sent this guy that poem I wrote and he called it complicated... I don't know what else to write now though, I'm quite stumped. I think I'll take a rest for now.
