Song of the Week #1 (10/18/25)

Song of the Week - 1

Hello! I'm gonna put music I like in blogs every week because I'm bored and why not.

This week's is "The Host" by Frank Iero and the Future Violents. I personally really like this song because of the piano. I think it's a really beautiful piano melody.

I think for me this is one of those songs that didn't really stand out to me at first, but after listening to it a few times, was solidified as a favorite. Similar things have happened with songs like Brother by Gerard Way, I'm Low on Gas and You Need a Jacket by Pierce the Veil, and the entirety of The Black Parade.

My favorite part of this song is 1:14 to 1:56.
