How to Have the full MySpace Experience with Embedding Music & Autoplay

To have the full retro MySpace experience SpaceHey is so very beta and do not musicians where you can source songs. In 2021 you can embed code for songs in your profile and select the "autoplay option" in your browser so the song plays automatically while looking at other's profiles or your own. 🏛

Go to Spotify or wherever you get your music. Hit the share button. Copy the embed code and put it in your about me section. Or whichever section you’d like.

Apparently you can embed YouTube code for a playlist but I have not gotten that far yet 😅

Allow audio to auto-play on SpaceHey if you're on desktop or laptop:

In your browser settings (for Safari on desktop, it's under Preferences > Websites > Auto-Play; for Chrome, it's Settings > Privacy and Security > Site Settings > Media > Auto-Play; look up Google for other browsers) you should enable auto-play audio on spacehey.com so everyone's music plays. Thanks to Crimson in the comments, here's another way to do it: "Go to Privacy and Security > Site Settings > View Permissions and Date (Below your recent activity) > Spacehey.com > Scroll to "Sound" > Click the drop down icon and hit "Allow"

There's a learning curve with HTML but it's like riding a bicycle. I'm excited for this new era of the internet 🏛
