I find this quite relatable, people usually don't tend to stay here for long. I believe that many people found this place mostly, because they were looking for a "Y2K vibe" site, which many of commenting have already user noticed. They just make an account, hang around for a few days, and then just forget - that was a case with a friend of mine. On the other hand I really don't find it a serious issue, SpaceHey by its design isn't doing much to keep newcomers in - bare interface, only basic social features, need to learn a bit of HTML - and it's supposed to be that way. I am not suprised that people just leave this place after a short peroid of time, website just simply doesn't suit them - and that's ok.
Also website is edgy and gay.

tbh it's hard for me 2 stay active on here bc my friends use other socials instead (and are crazy inactive on those too), and meeting new ppl on here is vvvv slow, especially bc im a grown adult and most the ppl on here are minors /(x_x)\ but yeah i wish this site had more traction or interest. Ppl watch me edit my page and ask what im doing but never get into the site itself, they just move on and have literally 0 interest in it ╮(︶︿︶)╭
