The story of the dodo makes me sad :(

Dodos were NOT stupid.. they just didn't know any better :[ they had no natural predators on the island they lived on. they were just curious and docile.. it just makes me sooo sad. imagine some hairless apes being the cause of your entire species going extinct then they go on to call you dumb just because you were inquisitive, docile and didn't know any better. it just breaks my heart man..

Also, fun-facts for people who don't know; Dodos were very unique Columbids! Columbidae is the bird family that doves and pigeons belong to :] Their feathers were brownish-gray in colour.
