Okay, so, now I'm officially in midterm season, welp-

Uni has been great, gotta admit my grades aren't the best but I'm pretty lazy so that checks out.

My super update rn is that I'm sick and tomorrow I have my political law midterm, so I'm gonna be writing some tips on how to survive this without flunking the tests (basically, I'm procrastinating because I don't want to study yiiijaaa) 

DISCLAIMER: Don't take this seriously because I'm only in my second semester, lmao.

1. DO NOT PROCRASTINATE, funny since that is what I'm doing rn, but hey, do not follow my steps pls.

2. PLEASE GO TO THE LECTURES, also funny since I skip my classes religiously, I get a pass though because my teachers upload official notes for the tests.

3. DO NOT BUY AN IPAD. Just use your laptop; it isn't worth it if you have to write a lot, keep reading tho.

4. TAKE NOTES, or die trying, I swear. It is not as hard as it sounds, especially as a law student. Try typing instead of using a notebook or a pencil and tablet; it's waaaay faster. Unless you already have a freaking tablet, just get a keyboard for it. Another disclaimer, if you need to draw things or write down equations, do not follow tip n° 3 lol 

5. USE THE APPS YOU ALREADY HAVE. Come on, guys, especially on Samsung, if you're going to ignore the typing tip, just use Samsung Notes. Do not buy other apps; it isn't worth it. Aesthetic is cute, but trust me, it is impractical. Word is the way to go if you are on the typing journey with me.

6. MAKE FRIENDS, I swear y'all it is not as hard as you think it is, just smile, lol. Having friends makes everything way easier, if you have to miss class (like me) you will have someone to ask for their notes, or someone to study with, or simply to have lunch with and not being alone like a loser /jk [Okay, I have a feeling I have to make a new entry just for this tip to explain it better, but I swear it isn't hard.]

7. CHECK THE SYLLABUS (I think that is how you guys call it in English, idk). Okay, so in most universities, the information about the classes is already on the website: the test dates, homework, how the grades work, the type of evaluation, and what to expect from your course and the professor, which, again, everything depends on the professor you have. Oh! And, please check if the attendance is mandatory, as it is embarrassing to fail a class just because you missed it a few times —I flunked a class because I didn't attend.

8. HAVE FUN. Universities have many activities during the semester: parties, club meetings, seminars, contests, idk, a lot of stuff; just go, have fun, it is a great way to meet people who have the same interests as you, I know for some of you it sounds like hell, but give it a try and live the uni experience, you don't have to be there the whooooole time, just go check it out, stay for half an hour and if you want to leave, feel free to do so, just try it, please.

9. Now with the actual test thingy, SKIM. There is no need to read everything; just get the main ideas and then work them out if you are against the clock.

10. PRINT YOUR NOTES. Bad for the environment, good for your brain —I don't know why, but for me, it sticks more.

11. Don't kill me, but USE AI. It is a good tool if you know how to use it; it can explain things, summarize them, make mock tests for you to practice... my professors encourage its use.

Andddd... I don't know what else to tell you, honestly.

I've been told to have a schedule, but man, I hate schedules. I just go with whatever feels right at the moment. I can't really force myself to study, but I can create the mood to want to do it. 

I can give you these tips cuz I said so. My qualifications are: I'm a student at uni. I have failed just one class because I'm lazy, but I passed the toughest ones. This semester, my grades have really improved, lol.
