how do I ask my parents for a binder
So, I'm non binary and I really want my chest to look more flat for a more androgynic look. I don't know how to tell my parents though. They're not transphobic but when I told my mum that I'm probably not a girl (tried to tell her carefully) she just said that she hopes I will feel better about my body soon and that I'm such a beautiful girl. Of course you don't know my parents, but do you guys have any experience or ideas on how to ask my parents for a binder? I'm kinda desperate lol

okii update I talked to my dad and I have a binder now! Yay!

When I was questioning my gender, I really wanted that androgynous look you said, so what I did to ask fro a binder was to tell my mom that I wanted a different bra, I show her some pictures and told her it was a sport bra, and that they are more comfortable than normal ones.
If that doesn't work... maybe you can come up with something similar!
