Stealth VOB [METAL GEAR X ARMORED CORE FOR ANSWER]

A high-speed boost unit developed by the Anti-Metal Gear NGO Philanthropy, in order to help Snake infiltrate the enemy's base at higher speeds, and also get through the devastating firepower of the New Fortified Metal Gear Model and minimize the damage of its user when arriving in a Stealth/Anti-Metal Gear Operation. The VOB purges itself from the body of its user when it reaches the perimeter of the target. It was inspired by one of Otacon's favourite mecha video game franchises.

SUBJECT: THE S.V.O.B (STEALTH VANGUARD OVERED BOOST)

 In response to a classified intel that a new Metal Gear Prototype that is heavily fortified and also had devastating long-range firepower was getting manufactured, the Anti-Metal Gear NGO Philanthropy made a booster unit that can help Solid Snake get through its defenses.

It was inspired by a Mecha Video Game series that Otacon was a fan of.

It was called the STEALTH VANGUARD OVERED BOOST. It was referred to as the S.V.O.B in shortened form.

The S.V.O.B System is a gargantuan auxiliary high-speed booster unit that is  developed to surpass the new Metal Gear model’s impressive long-range firepower and even also help Snake arrive at the enemy’s base quickly without damage.

An operator equipped with the system can dash towards the target at thousands of kilometers.

 And even also while dodging the incoming shots of a Metal Gear model of this type. 

Once the S.V.O.B system reaches the target’s perimeter, the V.O.B unit will be purged out of the user’s back, thus leaving Snake free to do both his sneaking and Anti-Metal Gear operations. Since the V.O.B unit has less armor and it’s very fragile, the user must not get into enemy ordinance and detection.

This VOB system was fitted with a built-in specialized stealth camo that is modified to withstand its tremendous forward speed. Snake's modified V.O.B also need some ground support stands and some equipment for maintenance when he’s preparing for a mission. This S.V.O.B system is also fitted with both an oxygen mask and a parachute in case when it purges from Snake’s back and he's about to do a freefall. Also, just in case of a HALO jump.

It is worth mentioning that back in the early 70s and 80s that the 2 PMCs Militaires Sans Frontieres (MSF for short) and the Diamond Dogs also utilized Stealth V.O.Bs of a similar type that are developed by their respective R&D teams for certain stealth missions. And even the FOXHOUND unit back in the 90s, Solid Snake tested a V.O.B unit that was designed for stealth missions during a training session.

Otacon, being inspired by Armored Core to develop a VOB system for Snake's missions is a hilarious idea..

But, AC4/ACfA being an example of the consequences of what if the Metal Gears became the standard arsenals of private security and military companies is very disturbing to think about.
