anywho, for some bg, i was in fact part of the phandom back when it was at its peak. however, i was pretty young so i didnt go to any of their tours or own any of the merch bc i didnt wanna ask my parents to buy things from some random guys online. i DID watch almost every video n make fanart n talk ab it w my friends. basically i participated as much as i could as a kid w limited internet access. i wasnt really into the shipping aspect of things bc i felt uncomfy shipping real ppl n i still do, but i still watched the phanmade speculation videos n had my own suspicions bc it was such a big part of the culture.

tbh im shocked they even made this video. they definitely dont owe it to us, n i was content w just never really knowing for sure, but it seems like this vid was made more for themselves so they (dan) can move onto something new. the fact that they stayed together for so long while under crazy pressure is amazing tbh. i dont wanna say im proud bc like that sounds parasocial, but props to dan for powering thru it n going to therapy, n props to phil for being patient n waiting until dan was ready. the things they said ab each other were so sweet QvQ

while i had fun back then, im really glad the phandom has grown up n mellowed out. while im not active in it the way i was back then, i still do watch their vids n am around phandom ppl. i cant wait to see what they do!!
