i finished crime and punishment it was really good, i recommend it!

might do a summary type thing. with my thoughts.vmaybe idk

thoughts so far - dostoyevsky’s way of writing is amazing. he really makes raskolnikov sound frantic, and expresses/writes his (raskolnikov’s) emotions very well. razumikhin is probably  important, and it seems like he and raskolnikov are friends, at least in some way, with how he acted while raskolnikov was sick. i believe raskolnikov will be telling sonya that he killed alyona ivanovna and lizaveta. i didn’t expect svidrigailov to be listening in to their conversation, and based on what i’ve read so far i don’t like him, he seems very off-putting. speaking of which, i’m glad dunya will not be marrying pyotor petrovich anymore—especially after their meeting and how he was described; wanting a ‘young woman’ to worship him…i can see why raskolnikov disliked him. back to the murder and confessions, i believe raskolnikov will confess to, as well as sonya, razumikhin.
