what they dont tell you about sexual assault is that there are days where it permeates your entire fucking existence like a god damn film you cannot wash off of you no matter how hard you scrub. you cant stop thinking about it, even if you can there are parts of your thinking and acting that are inexorably connected to it, so indirectly its always there with you, inescapable, tainted. 

and there r other days, when you go weeks without even thinking of it. but its gonna hit you eventually.

please, check up on the younger ones in your life. make sure to be a safe space for them. you could save them a lot of pain when they are adults.
