I went rokku gyaru for one whole season lmao
Way too much work for me so here are some crumbs
For those who don't know: gyaru is a Japanese fashion and lifestyle with many subcategories. Below shows rokku gyaru (rock girl) as its dark colors, bold makeup, and alternative clothing. Major requirements for gal makeup is a white nosestripe and drooped eyes. Gyaru itself was a statement movement for women in Japan revolting against social norms of men at its time and since then has evolved into many forms of style.

I actually didn't know rokku gyaru was a thing, huh. And I've kept tabs on most gyaru-ganguro trends. When did it slip past me x_x
Honestly? It did me too for a very long time lmao. I liked gyaru but I was way into visual kei and I somehow never knew they had a love child out there

I had a friend that was SUPER into visual key, so I've learned a bit from osmosis x3 I can definitely see this being a bit of a mix of both, in that sense!
