I'm gonna go over a few things bc I have a lot to say (also this could be in the wrong category but idk)
1. Who's bright idea was it to make robots look human. NO terrible idea get out. Why do we give it legs and arms.. put it on wheels or something make it look like a machine NOT US. that's basically just setting us up for disaster
2. AI.... I hate it, it's just one more thing to waste water and energy. plus its being used in unnecessary circumstances, like no the 15 second Italian brainrot video is not worth it sorry not sorry. Also wtf?????? Ai minister in Albania??? Ai actress?? WHAT ARE WE DOINGGGGGGG????? it also is used so frequently just to talk to someone, this shouldn't be normal-- no offence if you use it but you have to see where im coming from.
3. people seem to think it won't hurt anyone because its programmed not to hurt anyone. are we forgetting almost every robot/ai movie??? if it ACTUALLY gains its own mind, sentient or whatever, we are SO cooked since already we rely on technology so much.
I probably forgot something I wanted to mention but yea........

putting in some answers that i have for this stuff, though i am not the most knowledgeable.
1. they want to make robots look humanoid because some people want the feeling of slavery back, but obviously can't with actual people. also that's why a lot of robots look like women too, especially asian women. it's a fetishist and way for wealthy men to abuse women w/o repercussions.
2. generative ai started out with images because it's an "easy" way to show people how it works, however because of this, people are using it wrong. the reason why it's still being used is because people in power want resources to themselves and information under their control. that's why data centers are never near their precious properties and why images and videos are being pushed so much by them; its so they can control and alter information to herd the general populace to what they want.
3. this is true but also generative ai's harm will be more so on the altercation, manipulation, and removal of information from the world. i am holding out hope that the ai bubble bursts soon, but i know so so many lives will be changed for the worse when that bubble finally bursts.
