Sososososo much has happened since I last updated my spacehey.

My boyfriend left in August for Army BCT, and was training until October 9th. I flew out to stay with his mom for graduation and to visit.
For reference, I'm Canadian, and going through the American boarder (especially for an extended stay, like me) is kind of intimidating in this current political climate.

So I got to see him last week for the first time in like 2 months!!! On the 8th for family day and on the 9th for his Graduation. He looked so good, although a little bald lol! The first hug we had in almost a year was so tight, I honestly felt like if I let go he would disappear. He looked at me with such love that my heart felt like it was going to explode. At the end of the 8th, and when we had to leave on the 9th was the hardest. Such a bittersweet feeling that I was finally able to see him again, but it was very regulated and for such a short time. Although he was finished his BCT training he still had to go off to do MORE training, AIT.
This AIT training is going to be more specialized to the job my boyfriend chose in the army, which was 74D. 74D in the Army stands for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Specialist, which I think is pretty epicsauce.

I've honestly cried a lot in the past couple months since we've had such little communication, it's been especially hard since communication is such a backbone of a long distance relationship. BCT only gives soldiers about half and hour (sometimes less/none) of phone time on Sundays, and luckily that rule will lift a little with him transitioning to AIT, but I know for myself it still won't be enough.
I can already feel the cold and wet seasonal depression setting in, and I feel so out of place in the USA without him by my side. I know I can't make the flow of time faster, and I just have to get through it at this point. I'll get to see him again in December, we'll have Christmas together with his family and then head back to his home in California. 
Can't wait to cuddle, and nuzzle, and listen to music together.
