Isn't it funny?

Y'know, I was never really one for music, until a couple years ago. I decided to give it a go and never turned back. It started with ambient music, then to R&B, then a bit of older rap, now I am back into that Pop state of mind! No, I still am not a fan of Taylor Swift, but I got back into that state of mind because I played GTA V. Unlike IV, where I got exposed to a great variety of tracks and genres, V's radio is kinda lackluster and boring. So naturally, I landed on what I was familiar with, the game's Pop station. And, gosh, it's quite the hitter! I came in expecting it to just mirror what was popular in 2013. I was dead wrong, it plays Pop hits from the 80s all the way to the early 2010's! So, while I got reintroduced to a lot of tracks I used to hear on the actual radio during the time, such as Applause, Gimmie More, Only Girl (In The world), Meet Me Halfway, and Tennis Court! It also introduced me to other hits I was too young for! And, confession time, while I did hear of Gorillaz, I have never heard one of their songs until I played GTA V and heard Feel Good Inc. in the game. No clue how it fits the setting of 2013 Los Angeles, but I dig its inclusion! But as per usual, there were some songs which I couldn't stand and this changing to other songs is why I wanted to write this. At first, I could not stand Moves Like Jagger and I Want It That Way. Over time, I grew to enjoy The Backstreet Boys song but could not get myself to tolerate the Maroon 5 song for a long time. This was due to the part that I already know how it goes and was quite frankly, was alive and remember when it was HEAVILY overplayed on the radio. So, I thought that was something I would just always turn off the radio or tune to something else, but as of recently, I started tolerating it again! I do know why, it's because I started hating Rhythm Of the Night and Anthem. Something about them just makes me not like them, so I started tolerating Moves Like Jagger again! Interesting how our likes and dislikes can change, eh? Like for example, when
