♡ no.1 wriothesley fan

i started playing genshin impact around late october '20. i wanted to play from the first launch day but my phone was too slow & it took way too long to download so i honestly forgot about the game until later. i ended up fully downloading the game & started playing october 25th, 2020. i played the game up consistently until inazuma (i can't recall which banner i stopped at for a better sense of time but i believe it was raiden shogun's first release/banner). the ultimate reason i stopped playing was because i ragequit... the anti-raiden shogun challenge (i usually speedrun quests/new content so this was right after the release of inazuma) was too difficult at the time & i ended up getting extremely mad & just quitting. for the next 3 years, i would occasionally log in to see new characters or at least attempt the challenge again or try to explore & unlock new regions. i didn't fully begin playing genshin impact again until february '25. i came back to mizuki's banner. i have since played consistently, leveling up my characters & doing quests/exploration. during my mission to finish all the quests, i ended up doing fontaine last. i had met wriothesley & the other fontaine characters not too long after coming back. i ended up falling in love & couldn't wait to pull for him. i didn't realize his banner would be next!

i currently have wriothesley c3r1. i spent a total of around $1,500 (USD) during his banner alone (i am unsure of the final total at this moment, sorry). before you talk about the amount of money i spent, i did also pull for furina & her weapon (& got her c0r1), as well as use some extra primogems on standard banner. i have never spend this much money on this game but in the span of the 3 years i did not play, i did get a job. i did have the extra money to spend on his banner! i do hope & plan to have him c6r5 in the future. wriothesley is one character where i would genuinely say i feel like he is completely worth spending money & pulling for! *please be responsible with your money!*

to be completely honest, i did not like wriothesley's character at first. he has very clearly grown on me! i believe the entire reason i didn't like wriothesley was because i am not a lore person. i do not care for the genshin story at all & i play to collect/build my favorite characters. however, i did particularly pay attention at some point because it quite literally felt like a switch flipped. i just suddenly became so enamored by him. i did pay attention to his character story quest. & did absolutely love it! which in turn, made me want to pull for him. i did also really enjoy his gameplay/kit & i think that really solidifies him for me. aaaaaa i love him so so much!!!!

originally i converted my twitter so that i could be in yumetwt & talk about my selfships. i really no longer care for being in the subtwt btw! i am more inclined to use tumblr when posting for looking for selfship content. i do use both terms 'selfship' & 'yumeship' when talking about it. i also may refer to it as just a relationship (i will eventually talk about my ship's lore & dynamic at some point). the ship name i use for us is 'wriomi', which is a mash of both of our names 'wrio' for the 'nickname' of sorts that other fans have given wriothesley & 'mi' from the beginning of my name, mirelle. i do have ship emojis or representative emojis for us! 🎀 for mirelle & i associate myself with pink, bows, & cute things. ⛓️ for wriothesley, which is the fan-associated emoji that is mostly used in other cc x cc (canon character x canon character, ex. wriolette) ships. everything related to wriomi is posted to my twitter so i will be linking everything there unless it is new content that i post to my tumblr. *my shipping boundaries: i do not care about sharing status or 'doubles' but i do not like when someone tries to one-up me or claim to be the 'number one fan'. i don't actively search for doubles unless i'm curious about their personal characterization of wriothesley.*

• mirelle is me! it's literally my self persona. when giving references for art, i always include pictures of myself in the reference sheet i made for myself.
• i almost never refer to wriothesley as 'wrio'. i always type out his name. there is no real reason behind it, just a preference.
• i have read fanfiction since i was like 8 years old so now i write it! i don't write anything long unless they are personal stories (wriomi mostly) but i do not share those. i write like blurbs/drabbles for genshin impact characters (mainly wriothesley & varka) on tumblr under the user fakehallucinations.

i am not a crazy collector (at least at this moment). i spend most of my money on commissions of wriomi instead of buying physical merchandise of wriothesley. i do not consider my love any different, more or less, just because i spend my money on art vs. official merch. before i include any images, most of the stuff i buy is not official. i do love some of the stuff that hoyo puts out officially, i just think they are a little expensive (which are actually priced very nicely for quality & for the fact that the merch would be officially from the company but in the age of resellers & websites such as aliexpress/shein/etc, the price can be a little hefty. especially when shipping (crazy ass taxes & after fees + if you ship to warehouses, where you end up paying for shipping from those) is outrageous. this is my wriothesley merchandise collection, as of october 13th, 2025: (explained lrtb)

• the first fanart print is from etsy & the seller is FateAndPrince. the frame is actually decorated myself! the frame itself was very cheap & i bought the ribbon & decorations on aliexpress. i originally bought the ribbons for an oshikatsu deco project but i ended up using them on this frame so i could put the print in it. 
• the standee is from aliexpress. i remember the peeling of the plastic layer was hell! i hope to get more standees in the future, standees are my favorite type of merch honestly (besides plushies ofc).
• the plushie!!!!! aaaaaa i love him so so so much! the wriothesley plushie i believe is from aliexpress. i also love the child!wriothesley plush that has the sigewinne one with it but it was expensive & the shipping ended up being more than the plush itself... so i endded up getting this one instead. i also hope they make a nui plush. i prefer the look of nuis.
• the pin is also from aliexpress & the rosette was handmade. it ended up being a bit plainer than i had in mind. that is the 4th rosette i've made & the 2nd one i've made just using plain ribbon.
• the photocard is another fan-made art from FateAndPrince. the photocard holder with the ribbon is from aliexpress. 
• i believe the keychain came in the package with the plushie. i honestly have no idea where it came from & i just know it came with an aliexpress order a little bit ago...
