So.... I got pissed with EA's bs so I said fuck it and fully embraced
Linux. Context: Battlefield 6 was the only think delaying me from
removing Windows. But because I kept on crashing on me, i refunded the
game and moved on with my life.
So far things are running smooth.
Only time will tell. I heard DaVinci Resolve is available for linux but
so I might try getting this evening when I get home work.
However,
I have this other free editing software that is made for Linux that I
want to give a try. So the next couple videos I upload, I might use
that.
Also, gotta make sure obs studio works properly and I have
to find out how i could get my webcam working correctly (its base
software doesnt support linux).
Games will be the easiest part as
I chose BazziteOS, which has steam built into it. For those who do not
know, Steam has its own version of whats called "Wine" they call Proton.
Which basically translates Windows games into code that Linux
understands. So basically like 99% of my PC library is still available
to me. (Excluding the Battlefield games since they require secure boot
and use kernel-level anti-cheat)
