what am i up to?

It's been 13 days since the last blog, so nothing new under the sun. That can be a good thing for sure. Been super busy with teaching, and that's going incredibly well (save for a student who, um, said inappropriate things during a lesson). Got more gigs lined up, so that's something to look forward to. And one of the gigs is seven minutes from my house!

I'm old! HA!

I've been compiling the demos that have been on my laptop for about two years. Writing, re-writing, editing, re-editing, tossing stuff out, resurrecting them...you know the deal. Nobody ever said being a musician was easy. If it was, everyone would do it.

But on October 29, I will be doing a live Q&A on my friend DJ Metal Mistress' show from 7-10 pm. She invited me up to do a pre-birthday bash (my b-day is November 2) and said "You will control the airwaves" which works for me! I can at least talk about the two gigs with Supernova on Oct 24, and the Rubber Duckie Riot gig on Halloween. It's not my music that will be discussed, but it's something to do with strapping on a guitar, right?

Wish I had more up my sleeve but for now, this is good enough.
