Day 3 of using old technology

Well I thought this challenge could not get any harder.

Well it did.    Last night I asked a coworker if he could install Mac OS 10.5 on my iBook so I could try other applications and get a better web experience due to it being newer than 10.4.  Well I had those functions but I sacrificed the proformance of the laptop.  It was. Ice though to have a somewhat modern email client so I did that but now I’m reverting back to Mac OS 10.4.  Luckily I backed up the computer befor I installed 10.5.     After looking at the document that the installer had I seen that the computer needed a 870mb of ram or more and a g4 or better processor to run.  Well even though my iBook met the requirements to run it still was sluggish.   I should have suspected that but I’m use to my MacBook Pro.     Anyway I got the lapto back to 10.4 and now I need to find a way to do most of the crap I do online.      Ow well.   But I will say this being on a older computer makes you not want to use it so much that you can actually get work done and when your done have so much free time.   Well after then second day I felt like I had enough computer for the day so I desired to go
Outside.  I took a walk around my local park and then can be back home.       I brought my iPod and a tilt enjoy not having any distractions from my phone.  I may consider bringing my old iPod more places if I can get a destruction free environment .. any way that is day 3 so far.    I hope you all have a good holiday season and a good new year. I will post the next blog tomorrow.

This vid might have what you need. It's about a community-made OS upgrade for PowerPC-based Macs
