A User's Guide to the Old Phone Network: Telephony, Fidelity, Quantity

I've linked my Neocities in my profile, and there you will find a work in progress. It's going to be a resource site for learning all about the Bell System and 20th-century telephony. Currently, the only "finished" page is the one about phone phreaks, those early hackers who exploited the cutting-edge tech that Bell Labs had come up with to make the phone network more efficient. If any of that sounds even a little interesting, do check it out! There's a lot of text though, so if you prefer something a little more engaging, Evan Doorbell's "How I Became a Phone Phreak" series on YouTube is where I got my start. He's got a great presence and funny editing--plus he was there when it all started!
