Please, dude, it's all I want. I can't keep playing the most basic, most cookie cutter, most bottom of the barrel Roblox games for the umpteenth time. I can't keep asking for games to play that I personally adore and getting shut down because they're "too hard" or "too complex". I can't keep playing straight slop in service of others.
I want someone who plays GAMES. On a PC, with a stacked steam account with hundreds of hours like Gabe himself intended. I want someone who could chat Portal 2 and Persona 5 with, someone who I could play Calamity through with, someone who could steamroll my ass on Guilty Gear Strive. Someone who could actually win a game on Fortnite. Someone who mods Minecraft. Call me a masochist because if you actually whoop my ass in a game and show me you're on my level I'm GOING to bust in my pants. Fuck it, I'd even take a Hoyoverse (or other gacha) player at this rate, because those games take SKILL, THOUGHT, AND DEDICATION TO PLAY!! (If not in gameplay, at least in character building, team comps, perfecting rotations, and budgeting pulls!)
Also. An artist who makes OCs. In-depth OCs. With their own stories and personalities beyond the surface level. A story that I get engrossed in myself, with an awesome world, awesome characters, both kickass and heart-wrenching plot moments, and systems I can't help but wonder about. Imagine the collabs between my characters and these (hypothetical) characters. It's absolute cinema, I'm crying in bed just thinking about it. I want to rant to you about my stories and I want you to rant to me about yours. I want to crossover with you, add cameos of your creations into my own art. I want to make our characters kiss before kissing you myself.
If you are a girl, pretty, around my age, and match either (or, if divine luck shines upon me, both) of those descriptions, then please send your marriage contract to my address, with a photocopied list of your steam library and hours, and/or a refsheet of your oc, and I will be signing it. Thankest thou in advance, and I'll be waiting.

*That is a HORRIBLE IDEA and I have NO fucking clue how that made it past corporate. A discord username will be sent instead. Send the contract PDF and screenshots of refsheets/hours and library there.
(...obviously this is overly exaggerated to a shitposty ranty level and afflicted by The Malevolent Thoughts after 10 PM, but there is a kernel of truth to this; I really do want someone who plays games seriously and writes cool stories, that's my dream.)

This was an interesting read lol but I feel you. I'm not one for relationship advice but finding people like that is pretty hard. I've had girls interested in me flake out because my interests weren't super easy to understand or something they could dominate with ease on their 2nd attempt.. good riddance I suppose.
I like to game and write too, and while gaming isn't a super rare hobby, writing is a much tougher hobby to find in people. For that you normally gotta go for the more artsy types, and even then there's no telling if they'll understand what you're writing about or the emotional depth of your creations - media literacy IS dead these days after all.
Hopefully you have some better luck though homie, just try to stay positive and keep searching, maybe you'll find the right one somewhere
yeah, I really do want someone I can genuinely go in-depth with, not just a simple "oh that's pretty cool" or "aww it's really sad that that happened to em"
i really love talking about the process of my writing (and other creations in general) and how I think about things when I make them, and I do wanna hear how people build their own stories

There's definitely folks out there like that! I've met a few, and have some cool OCs of my own with cool lore. Just kinda have to find them though, that's the hardest part. The internet is a big place, might be best to start with writing communities though.. just a thought :P
