tw for talk of cannibalism (not gorey tho)

let me get this clear first, cannibalism in real life is incredibly disturbing and disgusting to me and i would never excuse it, this is talking about it purely in fiction.

i’ve started to form a deep love of the use of cannibalism as a metaphor for love, the idea of loving someone so much that you’d be willing to eat them is something that’s extremely interesting to me, especially when its used as a metaphor for queer love. the video that Eissocial on youtube made about it today has really expanded my thoughts about it used for queer love, the idea of choosing to eat someone instead of accepting your queerness and comparing the tabooness of cannibalism to the former (and now current) tabooness of being queer is VERY important to me.
