My lunch is different from my other classmates lunch, leaving me in a cafeteria full with strangers. I don't wanna look like more of a loser by sitting by myself. So I sit with people a grade above me. I don't even know them, it's a friend of a friend of a friend situation. Most if them are quiet, except one, who is loud and immature. Sometimes I get second hand embarrassment. I don't wanna be seen with those people. Yeah I can be immature and dumb too but I try to control it eith the people I know, not them. But beggers can't be choosers.
I like keeping a low target on my head, not known. I might join a club, I could meet people who have similar interests and learn some skills. Highschool really is an eye opener. I'm failing all my classes but that's another story for another time. What do I do.

Maybe find another people to sit with, if that is a possibility? But most importantly, try not to lose hope! I know it's hard, but people and friendships change a lot in highschool, so you will get someone to talk. Or maybe the group you sit with will loose friendship interest with the person you find embarassing, that is also a possibility.
And, of course I do not know anything about your situation, but sometimes people feel like they are falling classes even though they in reality simply got worse than before. Highschool is hard, so give yourself a time to relax your mind.

Maybe sitting alone is better than sitting with people you don't wanna be associated with (until you find someone better ofc)...
Are you failing them bc of mental health stuff or you have trouble with study subjects themselves?
I wouldn't say I'm mentally ill but I haven't been sleeping alot lately so that could be it. I also have a hard time concentrating because the teacher is just lecturing instead of teaching, I end up playing games on my Chromebook. I've been doing a little better now
