uncomfortable situations

my dad dropped me off at the bus stop today, like he usually does on thursdays, and within not even a second after i shut the door this person starts talking to me. at first they just make general small talk about my band shirt and ask me about the bus route, but then they mentioned that they were going to a show that they got free tickets for. so i say something like "oh really?" and they replied "yeah, you wanna know the secret?" and i, regretfully, say yes.

so they pull out their phone and tell me to scan this QR code. and at first i didn't know how i was going to get out of doing it, but i end up just pretending to scan it by taking a picture. and the more they talked about it the more i was not interested. and once the bus pulled up i hoped that this would be the end of the conversation because i was really tired from taekwondo and i just wanted to put my headphones on and listen to music... but they decided to sit in a spot directly in front of me. and they just keep trying to talk to me about this fucking app and shows and eventually they say something like "if you get the app and get a free ticket we could both go to a show together. do you, like, go to shows with strangers?" and at this point its 100% confirmed that they were just trying to ask me out somewhere so i try and let them down easy and say "oh haha, not typically, i like to learn about people beforehand" and i think they get the hint and just keep talking to their friend on facetime.

my stop comes up, which is one of the stops that drops you off by the train, and so i get up and stand by the back door. and when i get off i realize the person who talked to me walked all the way to the FRONT of the bus to also get off, even though it wasn't their stop. and the reason i know that is because one of the questions about the bus route they asked me was "does this bus take you directly to [the train station that isn't the one they got off at]."

and at this point i'm a little worried, so i try and stay far behind them, but then realize that they went onto the southbound platform, despite not making any sense for them to do that since they could've just taken a different bus. so i walk to the northbound platform, and then they TURN AROUND AND GO TO THE NORTHBOUND PLATFORM. and like, maybe they just didn't realize... but they said they live in the city, so unless they've only lived there for like. a day. its really fishy. so i kind of tried to hide behind a pillar without making it look like i was hiding. and when the train got here i made sure to get onto a car i knew they weren't in and made sure they weren't behind me or didn't hop onto my car at one of the train stops. and the whole rest of the way home i kept feeling like i was being followed, even though i know it was really unlikely.

i am someone who has a major case of babyface, so when people (especially seemingly older people) hit on me in a setting that does not immediately make it known how old i am (i.e. a bar or +21 show) i'm always skeptical and super sketched out. and like. i tried making it obvious i wasn't interested, but i guess they either didn't notice or didn't care.
