Entering the Dark Descent to a Life I've Envisioned

As I writing this 2 day late blog, the power in my area is currently out and I'm using my phone data to share to my laptop to make this blog before my laptop dies because these gaming laptops die so fast. Got maybe 30 mins until its dead.
Its whatever, I hope the internet comes back, but damn is it strange when the power is out. My lifestyle is stuck in 2006 so for it to go out kind of feels like being sent back in a way, but also not really since nothing works cause its the power not wifi. I have my ipod and battery powered speaker to play some music. I was going to work on assignments today for school, but cant since my ipad is dead and all my stuff is on their on csp. Bit bummed out since I have an assignment due tomorrow, but it's whatever. I do hope the power comes back tonight because I can't do darkness. Anyways enough of my first world problem with no power for one day I hope.
The past 2 weeks have been so wild at school mainly cause I got sick the 2nd week and missed the whole weeks worth of assignments. It sucked so bad. I was coming in late and skipping classes cause my sickness just completely messed up my rhythm. Someone ha to be patient 0 at college and that was me. Aside from sickness, we worked on a lot of different stuff for all my classes. We did character design, composition, 2D hand drawn animation and storyboarding. I'll make a separate post on some of the stuff I did these past 2 weeks. I struggled to post on my socials and be motivated as being terminally sick but now I'm fine so it's all good.
Nothing outside of school happened. I did go thrifting twice which is more than usual with my school schedule, but I made time and got some good stuff I'd say.
First trip I got a mid 2000s zip up hoodie by the brand Special Blend. They used to do snowboard gear and stuff like that and I always see their stuff at the thrift especially their snowboard jackets and puffer jackets. I don't think they're around anymore which is sad cause their stuff is so cool and really good quality while looking cool! while back I got a fur trim hood winter jacket from them at the thrift and the details and design is crazy, like the most pretty jacket ever. I got the hoodie from them and I was like fire I'm collecting more OG Special Blend stuff. That's what I got the first trip just that.
My second trip was way better and I got more stuff. Looking for old abercrombie and found old abercrombie. It was a old-school brown double zip up abercrombie. Was super happy, but then it was a womens size which isn't the problem inherently, but I am a guy with a quite masculine frame and womens stuff especially 2000s womens stuff doesn't fit me right most of the time with the arms being too tight or the waist too cinched for me. Arms space especially I can't fit my arms in a womens large sometimes. So miracle that this womens medium abercrombie happened to fit(of course a tighter fit) but not so tight it was uncomfortable un-flattering. Super stretchy which was nice so I could stretch it out to fit me better. I also got a basic 2000s grey T-shit from footlocker. Good for the gym, lazy days and sleep. I don't have blank tees cause I'm so particular with my blank tees being 2000s cut or vintage style like I won't buy stuff made after 2012 at latest. So nice to find a good vintage basic once in a while. Then I got a mid 2000s H&M Divided zip up. Now I know H&M is like whatever, but their older stuff especially pre 2008 was actually really nice like old-school Zara. The zip up was this cool brown hoodie with paint splatter print all over which was so cool. Love me some vintage H&M stuff. I own a couple 2000s H&M items and they're really good an actually cute. Some non clothing stuff was a 2005 TATU Cd, Ice Age Meltdown PS2 Game and a 2004 Hallmark card making program CD. Downloaded TATU on my ipod, will play the ice age game soon, and will definitely use that hallmark program for cards during the holidays!! Overall super old-school and loved all the stuff I got.
Hoping I can thrift more this autumn, because these recent thrifts, have been pretty good and I'm in desperate need of more vintage 2000s fall clothes. More layering pieces, leather, big bags, metal jewelry, boots and chunky belts. I obsessively check Facebook marketplace whenever I can because the pages are being filled with newly listed stuff this season probs from people donating things and I want to buy so much of it, but its so expensive. Like 150 for Hugo Boss 00's leather jacket:( or 200 for Hugo boss leather bag UGGHHH ITS NOT FAIR WHY AM I BROKE I NEED WORK PLEASE SOEMONE HIRE ME ASAP.
As for social media, I'm getting back to posting after not for like a week and a half off being sick and feeling ugly. I need to take more pics so I can have things post. Sorry I keep living in the moment instead of capturing every second of it and using it as content online. I know such an annoyance. Tryna become niche micro influencer with suspicious amount of money. Once this power get's back on I'll post something. Please I don't want to use a candle forever.
By the time I finish writing this the power might be back on so when I post this and it's up, the power will be back on. Just in case since my laptop is about to die and well I don't have backup. Anyways gonna gym cause I skipped 2 days and need to be hot buff hunk boy in low-rise jeans with tight v neck t-shirt swooning all the girls and guys!!
Update: I put off this entry for a bit longer than usual because I was sick and then I got sick again shortly after. Hate my immune system this year. Nothing else happened this week so just updating this like usual. My power came on the late at night that day when i was writing this.
Will get better soon so I can write more!
