Early Internet

Man this site really takes me back to the early net. Now most of you would call me an "Internet Boomer' for saying this, but the early internet really was better. I remember browsing the internet discovering different forums, fan-sites, niche communities etc. You would have to actually find entertainment instead of it being shoved in your face. I want to get back to that sense of wonder I had when I was a kid. It's not easy though, I still find myself scrolling on my phone mindlessly for no reason and im slowly trying to kick that habit(got a fliphone recently).

I truly want to have an internet where everyone can be themselves, explore new things, and not have big corporations have constant ads in your face so they can make all the money.
