I've been a vegetarian for one month and four weeks, I was really proud about myself until a few minutes ago... Because in a few hours it's going to be my birthday my roommates and I decided to order some delivery, I was craving mexican food, so I ordered myself some Taco Bell. Everything was nice until I realized that instead of beans I was eating meat. Yes, my bean burrito was actually beef burrito.
Because I was hungry and tired, I din't notice at first, only from the third bite. I panicked and started to feel really sad, I checked the recepeit to see if maybe I didn't choose right, if it was my fault, but no.
Now I'm left with a tummy ache, sadness and confusion because I don't know if I can keep saying that I've been a vegetarian for one month and four weeks or if I should say "I started being a vegeterian yesterday!".
What I am trying to say from this experience is: if you are a vegetarian or vegan from a non-vegan friendly country please please please check your food.

Fellow vegetarian here. I’ve only been a vegetarian afew months myself. For the first few weeks I found it hard and found myself succumbing to the temptation to nibble on meat afew times but each time I succumbed I just remained committed to vegetarianism until I found that meat no longer tempted me at all. You didn’t even knowingly succumb because you only realised that you were eating meat after you had done so. Don’t worry about it. Just remain committed to your principles and avoid meat from this point on.
