the world feels pretty uncreative nowadays

im kinda tired of the bland life me and most people are living in now.. everything is flat and black and white we are being FORCED to do things that the big corporations want. a big example is the new nintendo switch 2 you can't mod it or pirate games and what if i need to mod it to fix something? its kind of the same with laptops as well. laptops have gotten less repairable so you need to get a new one when it breaks encouraging throw away culture. i miss when people werent afraid to experiment when people and companys got wild and crazy when you felt like you actually owned something instead of basically renting a movie or a game until its taken off whatever streaming service you use. the worst part is that people are just accepting it. it's become reality, it's become the everyday. at this point i wish someone would tell me its all a simulation that its all fake because our world is becoming what sci-fi books warned us about. government monitoring our every move, being forced to do things "their" way, even the world just becoming colorless and bland like the giver series (if you read it) and im not trying to say we have to "go back in time" i just want control over my life and just for things to be done how they used to.
