My winter Poem

I am not confident about this poem-in fact I have written it a while ago and deciding to share it now.

"Bare trees coated in snow

The opiant air feigning drowsiness

The sharp wind coos in soft blows

frozen flakes prick skin as though they are needles

vacant streets present poignant reminiscence

vivid grass has faded to colourless sleet

tangible livelihood stripped

Vulnerable and virgin, awaiting the inevitable bourgeon"
