Do people here shiny hunt?

I'm suuuper huge on it, been technically a shiny hunter since 2017 (those SOS battles did it for me) but only recently started to actually document each new shiny I get

I shiny hunt overall from gen 2 (VC on 3Ds) to gen 7, recently been on gen 3 and 5 binge, and my last shinies are 43 encounter apart TWO shiny Rattatas in Castelia City, while I was looking for Either Eevee or Petilil. Worst part, I now have 3 shiny Rattatas and 1 Skitty from this hunt... I like Skitty, I just didn't have any plans to use one on that copy T_T

So, I want to ask, anyone here also shiny hunts daily/frequently like me? And what's your favorite gen to do it on?
+ if you want you can attach your shiny hunt stories or whatnot as well, I really like hearing about them!!
