Continuing old projects

Good evening !

I wanted to talk about something I've always been scared to do like, EVER. It's continuing old drawings I deem "too old to finish". I've always been against that because in my mind cause it felt like I was being lazy by not updating or redrawing the thing I wanted to initially draw. But today I found myself continuing something I started last year because I was like : what if I got out of my comfort zone for once ? 

Perfectionism sucks because sometimes I label a month work as an "old drawing" and then I feel bad about not being quicker at finishing said project. Maybe that's why I never finished the many animation attempts I started in the fast cause those projects tend to be way longer than simple character drawings.

Idk what do you think ?  

Also here's a picture of said drawing (the sketch and line art were made a year ago and this evening I did the coloring).
