Unfortunately that's not surprising at all. Maybe I'm wrong but I feel like at the time when this anime came out watching anime as a hobby was male dominated and yk, most men are creeps. I never watched the anime itself but I'm not sure who it was made for. Some animes look cute but can have a shit load of fanservice and stuff, not saying that it's okay to sexualize highschoolers but atp it's to be expected in japanese media for some reason. But then again I never watched the anime, just remember girls having short skirts and like.... Idk it's fine but also just why. Or the animation it the opening??? Maybe it's just me idk really.
Hope you still can enjoy the show despite this all..!
