Pros and cons of using an iPod in 2025!!!

Hi!! this is my first blog and i wanted to share the pros and cons of owning and using an ipod regularly in 2025!

My credentials:

Pros:

better or same sound quality than spotify (with the right ear buds, I use apple made earbuds)

-if music imported from a CD, the sound quality is better. I can hear things in songs that I can't hear on spotify

-if um... "obtained" from spotify, the sound quality is the same

battery lasts AGES, i use mine for around 15 hours a week and i don't have to charge it until the end of the week, and even then the battery hasn't depleted
its cute!!!! im obsessed with looking at the cover flows
minimizes distractions, i get so distracted when im using spotify on my phone. ill go to change the song and ill find myself scrolling on insta or tiktok
no ads ever!!
one time purchase if you choose (since you can buy CDs or songs from itunes)
saves you money in the long run, no more monthly subscriptions

Cons:

most of them don't have BT capability, but you can get an adaptor
battery will eventually expand, leading to needing a new device or battery (which is hard to replace on most models)
limited storage, mine is only 4gb, other models have more storage capacity, such as the ipod classics
importing music is time consuming (but worth it)
can be pricey, i got mine for around $60 USD on ebay
you need to buy a separate speaker or dock if you want to listen without headphones, which can also get pricey
